At Quijote Full Services, we safeguard your property’s keys to make managing your home easier while you are away. We use them to carry out contracted services and provide access to expressly authorised professionals, following the instructions agreed with you.

We offer this service in Guardamar del Segura, Ciudad Quesada and La Marina, on the Costa Blanca.

🔒 Storage in a high-security safe

Your keys are stored in a high-security safe whenever they are not being used for an authorised visit. Access is restricted to the staff responsible for their safekeeping and management.

This keeps your keys protected and available whenever they are needed to carry out the services contracted for your property.

🆔 Identification through a confidential security code

Each set of keys is identified solely by an internal code. No labels display your name, address, residential development or any other information that could identify the property’s location.

The information linking that code to your property is stored separately, with restricted access. The keys themselves therefore do not reveal which property they belong to.

🎯 Use exclusively for authorised activities

Keys are used solely for property management and supervision, inspection visits, contracted maintenance and access for authorised professionals.

Before granting access to third parties, we require authorisation from the owner or the person designated in the contract. Holding your keys does not give us general permission to enter your property or allow access to anyone who requests it.

Keys may also be made available to official emergency services where there is a justified need, according to the circumstances and instructions of the competent authorities.

These activities must be contracted separately or expressly included in the relevant service or package.

🚪 Visits and door-opening services are not included

The key holding contract covers only the storage and safekeeping of your keys. It does not include visits or travel to open the property, including when access is requested for authorised professionals.

Each door-opening visit must be arranged and paid for separately, subject to availability, the time of the visit and the applicable rates, unless expressly included in another contracted service or package.

Authorisation to use the keys does not mean that the visit, travel or door-opening service is free of charge.

🛡️ Identity verification when opening the property

For door-opening requests requiring identification, we require a national identity card or passport, together with confirmation of a security code sent to the registered mobile phone number.

This procedure helps us verify both the person’s identity and their authorisation to access the property. If the necessary checks cannot be completed, access will remain pending until verification is possible.

The owner must keep their contact number and the details of authorised persons up to date.

❌ Forgotten, lost or broken keys

The key holding fee does not include opening the property because the owner or their relatives have forgotten, lost or broken their keys. It also excludes locksmith services, lock replacements and additional key cutting.

Should any of these situations arise, you may request additional assistance. This is subject to staff availability and will be charged separately, according to the terms and rates communicated before the visit.

⚠️ Key deliveries and additional assistance

Key deliveries, travel or door-opening visits unrelated to the routine management of the property must be requested and agreed in advance.

These activities are not included in the key holding contract and are subject to availability, operating hours and applicable rates. Before confirming the service, we will inform you of the cost and estimated response time.

Key holding is not a locksmith service and does not imply immediate availability or round-the-clock assistance.

🏠 Key holding and property inspections

Safeguarding keys and regularly checking a property are separate services. Key holding alone does not include inspection visits, surveillance, cleaning or maintenance.

If you would like updates on your property’s condition while you are away, you can add regular inspections and other services. The checks, their frequency and the reports provided will depend on the service or package contracted.

💡 Additional security measures

We recommend considering a safe for valuables and an alarm or CCTV system suited to your property.

These measures provide additional protection. Key holding facilitates authorised access, but it does not replace a security system or guarantee the prevention of theft, damage or other incidents.
